OPEN LOFT - General information

Dear visitor,

We are looking forward to welcoming you to our loft very soon.

We open our doors for certain events and want to spend a pleasant time with you, including a knitting meeting. Please check in advance when we are open.

An Open Loft takes place once a month and you can come without registering in advance. You only need to buy a ticket for our Schwedenrot & Friends event. The dates are announced regularly.

The Schwedenrot Loft is located on the 1st floor at Ernst-Abbe-Straße 2, 56070 Koblenz

The easiest way to reach us is by car. We are located in the heart of the Koblenz Nord industrial park and are in the immediate vicinity of Hornbach and Lidl. (as a visual orientation aid)

There are many parking spaces in front of our building and in the immediate vicinity (green markings). You will find several charging points for your electric car in the parking lot of the Dehner garden center. These are marked with lightning bolts on the map.

If you still need cash, you will find a Sparkasse ATM directly in front of our building and a Moneyserv ATM further along Ernst-Abbe-Straße, behind the bend. Both are marked with a yellow triangle on the map.

Of course, you can pay for all purchases with Girocard and several credit cards.

If you are arriving by bus from the city center, we recommend that you take a look at the bus timetables, which we have linked here:

You take line 7 from the main station or, if you are in the old town, the stop Bahnhof Stadtmitte/Löhr Center. You take line 7 to Globus and change there to the 27. Now it is only 2 stops to us. Please do not get off at Ernst-Abbe-Straße, as this stop is at the very end of our street and you would have to walk much further. Get off at the second stop on Carl-Zeiss Straße near Hornbach. Then you are directly in front of our building.

Not far from us, down-to-earth, located on the Rhine. It might be a good idea to have a car with you, as it's not in the city.

In Koblenz itself there is a wonderful old town to visit, the Deutsches Eck, and you should definitely take the cable car up to the Ehrenbreitstein Fortress and visit it. A return trip at sunset offers another panoramic highlight.
