57% mohair, 28% silk and 15% virgin wool
Tynn is, as the name suggests, Sandnes' thinnest silk mohair yarn. It is made from a blend of the finest mohair, wool and silk. Due to its thin structure and long running length, it is ideal for making light and airy knitted items with a touch of luxury. When used as a yarn with other qualities, it can give the knitted item a unique look while providing stability. Mohair is obtained from the hair of the Angora goat, which has long, silky smooth and curly hair. To give the yarn resilience and volume, it is mixed with wool. The silk provides extra strength and shine. The fibers are brushed up, resulting in a particularly soft, light and airy yarn with a fluffy appearance.
Perfect yarn to accompany Sandnes Sunday.
For gentle machine washing, the manufacturer recommends washing all wool items separately in the wool wash program to treat them as gently as possible. Hand-knitted items should be spun briefly and dried flat on a towel to avoid felting. Please avoid washing hand-knitted items in laundry nets or washing bags, as this can lead to friction and the item will become matted.
For hand-knitted clothing, we recommend gentle hand washing in lukewarm water. We offer special products for this in our care range .
Sandnes guarantees that it only supplies animals that are well treated.
