Silky Grace - Powder

The Silky Grace is not without reason. A thoroughly elegant yarn, which feels like a little cloud in your hands thanks to its high silk content. It gives your knitted item an absolute lightness, but also gives it a little structure. It is ideal for cardigans such as the Girlfriends Cardigan by Anke Strick and Chris Berlin Knits or for wonderfully cozy scarves such as the Sophie Scarf by PetiteKnit.

The yarn is made from a fantastic blend of 70% silk and 30% Merino Superfine virgin wool and has a running length of 200 metres per 50g. The fluff creates a knitting pattern in fingering sport strength, depending on the needle size.
The colors are semi-solid - mottled.

For larger knitted pieces, I recommend knitting the yarn balls alternately to achieve an even knitting pattern in the color distribution.
The yarn was dyed with acid dyes and then hand washed and rinsed in cold water. The color may bleed, especially with dark colors. I recommend washing the yarn or the knitted item made from it separately. We offer additional articles for this in the care section.

If you are making multi-coloured knitted items, with dark and light colours, I recommend making a swatch beforehand and hand washing it in cold water. The use of commercial colour detergent or fabric softener is not recommended.

Each strand is unique and is lovingly hand-dyed - no two strands are the same.

A high-quality SLR camera was used for the image representation. It is important to us to represent the yarns in correct color, but we cannot guarantee that there will be color deviations between the monitor and the original product.

Weight and running length: 50 g = 200 meters, needle size 3.5-4.5. The weight may vary slightly depending on the moisture level of the yarn. The length remains the same, of course.
