57% Mohair, 28% Silk and 15% Wool
Tynn is, as the name already describes, the thinnest Silk Mohair yarn from Sandnes. It consists of a blend of the finest mohair, wool and silk. Due to its thin structure and long run, it is perfect for making light and airy knits with a touch of luxury. When used as a supplementary yarn with other qualities, it can give the knitted piece a unique look while providing stability. Mohair is obtained from the hair of the Angora goat, which has long, silky smooth and curly hair. To give the yarn resilience and volume, it is blended with wool. The silk adds strength and shine. The fibres are brushed on, resulting in a particularly soft, light and airy yarn with a fluffy appearance.
Perfect supplementary yarn to Sandnes Sunday.
For gentle machine washing, the manufacturer recommends washing all wool pieces separately in the wool wash program to treat them as gently as possible. Hand-knitted pieces should be spun briefly and dried lying flat on a towel to avoid felting. Please avoid washing hand-knitted pieces in laundry nets or wash bags, as this can cause friction and cause the piece to felt.
For hand-knitted garments, we recommend gentle hand washing in hand-warm water. In our care range we offer special products for this purpose.
Sandnes guarantees to be supplied only by suppliers whose animals are treated well.
