This wonderfully soft yarn is suitable for all kinds of garments. Thanks to its fine composition of 70% merino wool, 20% silk and 10% cashmere, every knitted item becomes a robust and long-lasting favorite. The yarn is 4-ply twisted and is beautifully smooth in the hand. The wool warms in winter, regulates in summer and the silk is also excellent at balancing body temperatures. It is a year-round yarn that runs at 400 meters per 100g.
For larger knitted pieces, we recommend alternating the yarn balls to achieve an even knitting pattern in the color distribution. This is called alternating, which is explained very well in various YouTube videos.
The yarn was dyed with acid dyes and then washed and rinsed cold by hand. Bleeding of the color can still occur, especially with dark colors. I recommend washing the yarn or the resulting knitwear separately again. If you are creating multi-colored knitted pieces with dark and light colors, I recommend making a stitch sample beforehand and washing it cold by hand. The use of a color detergent or fabric softener is not recommended.
Each skein is unique and is lovingly hand-dyed by me - no two skeins are the same.
I used a high-quality reflex camera for the images. It is important to me that the colors of the yarns are shown correctly. However, I cannot guarantee color deviations between the monitor and the original product. I have refrained from post-processing.
Weight/length 100 g = 400 meters, needle size 2-3. The weight may vary slightly depending on the moisture content of the yarn. The length of course remains the same.
